Devotion is a awakening the emotion of love for god

A shirdi incarnate in Udupi is what the Sai devotees always dreamt of and hence the foundation for the temple was laid in the May of 1997. The temple complex is spread out on 2 acres of land donated by Smt. Rathi Shetty in Kodavoor Village, Udupi district. The temple was ready in 1998. The temple is divided into three sections each dedicated to Shri Shirdi Saibaba, Shri Nityananda Swami and Shri Raghavendra Swami.

The birth and the early life of Shri Saibaba are not much known. From the year 1858, Baba lived in the village of Shirdi in the state of Maharashtra for over sixty years. Baba came to Shirdi in 1858 accompanying a wedding procession as guest of honor.
